Three steps to bring your emails over

Get the key in Stripo
Open your project settings in Stripo, find Access the REST API and generate a key. The key is created by the owner of the Stripo project.

Add it to Blocks
In your Blocks project, press Import from Stripo, paste the key into Stripo API key and press Save and continue.

Choose and import
Pick templates and emails, filter by folder if you like, and press Import. The import runs in the background, so you can close the window.
What comes across

Emails, templates and folders
Your emails come across with their folders, and Stripo templates become project templates.

Names, subjects, preview text
Each email keeps the name, subject line and preview text it had in Stripo.

Images
Images are copied to your project’s storage along with each email.

Editable blocks
Press Convert on an imported email and its text, images and buttons become blocks you change by clicking.
Frequently asked questions
- How do imported emails become editable?
- They arrive in their Stripo layout. When you open one, the editor offers to convert it. Press Convert, and it becomes blocks you can edit, with its fonts, spacing and mobile version intact.
- Who can run the import?
- The owner or an admin of the Blocks project. The API key is created in Stripo by the owner of the Stripo project.
- What if I can’t get the API key?
- Export the email from Stripo as HTML, then press Import email on your project page in Blocks and choose the file. Convert works the same way.
- How many emails can I bring over?
- Up to 1,000 items in one import, and you can run it again: items you already imported are skipped. If your plan’s email limit runs out, the import stops and everything already copied stays in your project.
- What if an image can’t be copied?
- It stays as a link to Stripo, and Blocks tells you which email it’s in.
- What happens to my emails in Stripo?
- They stay where they are. Blocks only reads your templates and emails.
